Joyce A. Horgan, 89, of Lenox, died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield January 11, 1936, the daughter of Norman and Lillian Hart, she attended local schools and was a 1953 graduate of Pittsfield High School.

Joyce was head waitress at Brodie Mountain Ski Resort, Blantyre, and The Gables for many years and was also a caregiver in her later years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved sitting outside with her brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Sandy Hart; feeding the birds and chipmunks; and cherishing the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to walk New Lenox Road with Brian and Sandy.

Joyce is survived by her two children, Kim Taglieri (Thomas) of Pittsfield and Brian Horgan of Lenox; two brothers, Kenneth Hart and Roger Hart (Sandy), both of Lenox; her grandchildren, Benjamin (Heather) Taglieri, Lindsay (Noah) Cermak, and Heather Horgan; her great-grandchildren, Sophia and Lillian Taglieri and Ella and Otis Cermak; and her nieces and nephews, including Jana, Matthew, Kathy, Joseph, and Patricia. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Deborah Spring; her brother Jerry Hart; her sisters-in-law, Ann and Sally Hart; her niece Christine Hart; her grandmother Agnes Rosatti; and her former husband Gerald Horgan.

Her final wishes were that her loved ones keep making wonderful memories as her memories brought her so much happiness.
