John Albert Rosier Jr., 69, of Sheffield

Graveside Services for John A. Rosier Jr. will be held on Friday, December 2 at 11:30 a.m. in Ashley Falls Cemetery.

John Albert Rosier Jr., 69, of Sheffield died Friday, November 25, 2022 at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington. John was born in Great Barrington at Fairview Hospital on July 10, 1953 to John A. Sr. and Kathleen (Nott) Rosier.

John worked as a mechanic for many years. He owned J.R. Hauling and had a mechanic business in the ’90s. He loved spending time with his family and was always a very giving person.

John is survived by his mother, Kathleen Rosier; Colaine K. Duntz, who is the mother of three of his children, Colaine “Elizabeth” Dennis, Fawn Rosier, and Abbiegail Rosier (his girls were his world); another daughter, two brothers, Frank Rosier and Brian Rosier Sr.; two sisters, Theresa Morin and Lisa Dawson; five nephews; five nieces; five grandchildren; and nearest and dearest lifelong friends with whom John did everything, Rick Segalla and Timothy Brooks.

Graveside Services for John A. Rosier Jr. will be held on Friday, December 2 at 11:30 a.m. in Ashley Falls Cemetery. Birches-Roy Funeral Home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230, is entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be made through the funeral home’s website.
