Johann Sierau, 65, of Broken Arrow, Okla., formerly of South Egremont

He attended school in the Southern Berkshire School District until June 1971.

Johann Sierau, 65, formerly of South Egremont, passed away July 12 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Johann was born Jan. 6, 1954, to Jurgen and Louise (Mann) Sierau in Zurich, Switzerland. The family immigrated in to the U.S. in October 1955. He attended school in the Southern Berkshire School District until June 1971. After high school he traveled across the country, but returned to Connecticut to become a house painter. He married the love of his life, Mary Denise Parisi, in October 1975 in Norwalk, Connecticut. He played in the Misty Woods Bluegrass band as bass player. In 1993 they relocated to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Johann is survived by daughter Michelle of Bridgeport, Connecticut; son Nicholas of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters Christine Sierau (and Tom) of North Egremont and Maria Fili of Springfield; nieces Susanne and Anna; and nephews Paul and Dominique. He was predeceased by his wife on June 11 and both of his parents.

Clifford David ‘Cliff’ Perreault, 86, Housatonic

A funeral service to honor Clifford’s life will be held at Saint Theresa of Calcutta at Corpus Christi Church in Housatonic on Dec. 17, 2024, at 10 a.m., with a reception to follow.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date to be held in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.

The family invites you to calling hours, from 1 to 3 p.m., on Sunday December 15, at Birches-Roy Funeral Home. There will be a memorial Mass at 10 a.m., on Monday, December 16, at St. Peters Church. The burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery.
