In response to Carole Owens’ ‘Rents and rates’

Although longtime respected business owner and local plumbing and gas inspector Bob Gennari shares a last name with the Mill Pond Trailer Park mortgage holder, he does not now and never has held paper on or had any ownership association with the park.

To the editor:

Berkshire Edge columnist Carole Owens’ recent wandering piece on West Stockbridge’s Mill Pond Trailer Park (MPTP) is equally troubling.

Although longtime respected business owner and local plumbing and gas inspector Bob Gennari shares a last name with the MPTP mortgage holder, he does not now and never has held paper on or had any ownership association with the park. Carole’s “if so” disclaimer should not provide cover for damaging innuendo. This other Gennari is owed an apology.

And, even without guidance from our respected neighbors to the east, we have somehow muddled through the past quarter millennium just fine. I suspect we will figure this one out as well.
