Pittsfield — Timothy Formel, 35, of Housatonic, has been sentenced to four to five years in State Prison for rape.
Formel was sentenced on Wednesday, May 14.
According to a press release written by Berkshire District Attorney’s Office Chief of Operations Julia Sabourin, Formel was found guilty by a jury on May 9.
Sabourin wrote that Formel raped a woman in the early morning hours of May 26, 2018. The rape occurred in New Marlborough.
