Hillcrest Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Resident Arline Newton celebrated her 104th birthday on December 14. Staff and residents joined together to wish her a very happy birthday.
Mrs. Newton was born in 1919, the year that Babe Ruth was sold from the Boston Red Sox to the New York Yankees. She has been a resident of Hillcrest Commons for the last five years. Arline is still very active and can be seen in the photo helping to decorate one of Hillcrest Commons’ Christmas trees.
