Helyn Irene Billieux, 88, formerly of Housatonic died Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Hillcrest Commons Nursing Home in Pittsfield. She was born on May 23, 1927 in Westfield, Mass., daughter of Julius and Irene (Brown) Billieux. Helyn worked at Monument Mills, the former Yurkee’s Drug Store and was a manager of the former Smith Drug Store in Great Barrington.
Helyn is survived by her brother, Frederick, and his wife Jeanie of Spring Hill, Fla., one nephew, Fred Jr. of Pittsfield, one niece, Carolann of Houston, Texas, and longtime friend and caregiver Pauline Montgomery.
