Help support Shakespeare & Company’s Fall Festival of Shakespeare

There is nothing like seeing a group of kids finding their voices—and probably new-found senses of self confidence in the process of performing.

To the editor:

As a volunteer for Shakespeare & Company, I have witnessed how the company’s Fall Festival of Shakespeare can be a transformative experience for area high school students. There is nothing like seeing a group of kids finding their voices—and probably new-found senses of self confidence in the process of performing.

An anonymous donor has made a $30,000 Match Grant Challenge to support the Fall Festival, and every dollar given will be doubled up to $30,000 from now through Fall Festival Weekend (November 21 to 24). Given how this program has continually served students in the area year after year, I urge Berkshire County residents to help Shakespeare & Company meet this goal.

This ‘war’ on Canada is getting serious!

Commonwealth unfairly targets Arcadian Shop

After decades of Arcadian Shop renting kayaks at its Lenox location and then bringing them and their renters to the beautiful Stockbridge Bowl to paddle, the state announced a new policy that rentals aren’t allowed to launch from its facility.
