Harry A. Alexander, 84, of Pittsfield

In keeping with Harry’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.

Harry A. Alexander, 84, of Pittsfield, died at Fairview Commons Nursing Home in Great Barrington on Sunday, July 20, 2025. He was born in Great Barrington on February 8, 1941, son of the late Harry F and Elizabeth (Stoddard) Alexander.

Harry owned and operated Alexander Trucking and Carpentry as well as Andy’s Bullet Hole and a small motorcycle repair shop. He was a perfectionist when it came to building and restoring homes, and his beautiful craftsmanship remains throughout Berkshire County. Harry had many hobbies, including motocross racing, restoring old cars, gunsmithing, hunting, fishing, bicycling, skiing, and so much more. Most importantly, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Those left behind to cherish Harry’s memory are his wife of 64 years, Shirley (Davis) Alexander; his daughter Bonnie Alexander; his honorary daughter Leslie Strauser Rondeau; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Bailey) Oldakowski and her husband Jason, Isaiah Charland, and Bret Davis; and his great-grandchildren, Ashton and Tenley Oldakowski. He was predeceased by his son Shawn A. Alexander and his brother Arthur Alexander

In keeping with Harry’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. Harry was a huge animal lover, and in lieu of flowers, the family asks donation be made to the Berkshire Humane Society. Condolences can be made through the website of Birches-Roy Funeral Home.

The funeral will take place at Dewey Hall in Sheffield on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11 a.m., followed immediately by internment at Ahavath Sholom Cemetery in Great Barrington. A livestream of the funeral service will be available.

Dorothy J. Fuller, 93, of Great Barrington

A graveside service will be scheduled in the spring.

Robert Alvin White Jr., 78, of Lenox

In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Beacon Center in Madison, Wis., where his niece Sara dedicated her time to supporting the unhoused; the Sara Marie White Memorial Epilepsy Scholarship; or the restoration of the Lenox Meeting house.
