Great Barrington Selectboard unanimously votes to offer full-time town manager position to Bourne Assistant Town Administrator Liz Hartsgrove

Hartsgrove, a native of Washington, D.C., has served as Bourne’s assistant town administrator since December 2022.

Great Barrington During their meeting on Monday, October 6, the Selectboard voted unanimously to offer Bourne, Mass., Assistant Town Administrator Liz Hartsgrove the position of town manager.

Hartsgrove, a native of Washington, D.C., has served as Bourne’s assistant town administrator since December 2022. She previously served in several roles for the town of Barnstable, Mass., including its consumer affairs supervisor from August 2014 to June 2018, the assistant director of planning and development from June 2018 to March 2021, and the town’s deputy director of asset management and its licensing director from March 2021 to December 2022. She also served as executive assistant to the town administrator in Yarmouth, Mass., from June 2009 to August 2014, and she served the same role in Wellfleet, Mass., from September 2006 to June 2009.
