Great Barrington resident killed in motor vehicle accident

The accident is under investigation by the Great Barrington Police Department, the Berkshire County District Attorney's Office, and the State Police Accident Reconstructive Unit.

Great Barrington — The Police Department,  the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office, and the State Police Accident Reconstructive Unit, are investigating a single car accident that took the life of Louis Muller, 62, who was a resident of Great Barrington.

According to a press release issued by Police Chief Paul Storti, an investigation into the accident showed that Muller was travelling south on Monument Valley Road around 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26 when his 2015 GMC pickup left the southbound side of the roadway.

This caused the truck to strike an embankment and roll over multiple times.

No other vehicles or passengers were involved in the crash.
