Great Barrington Main Street reconstruction schedule

Top leftMaxymillian will continue work Monday, September 28, at 6:30 a.m. They will be finishing curbing and sidewalk work on the north side of the project. All businesses will have clear access during work hours.

Maxymillian will continue raising manhole and catch basin covers from Elm to Cottage streets in preparation for final paving in late October. Please use caution when driving.

Middle rightLane Construction will begin by milling road from Elm Street north to Cottage Street in preparation for the finish paving in late October.

Lapinski will begin pulling wires in various intersections, for the connection of new road lighting.

lower leftTwo-way traffic and access to businesses will be maintained at all times. Police officers will be present at all locations to direct traffic and ensure traffic flows smoothly in all directions.

Work hours are between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of the completion of daily tasks and additional cleanup of work areas. Road conditions will return to normal after 3 p.m. each day.
