Great Barrington Main Street Construction Update

Police officers will be present at all locations to direct traffic and ensure traffic flows smoothly in all directions.
Week of Monday Oct. 5 through Friday, Oct. 9

upper leftMaxymillian will continue work Monday, October 5, at 6:30 a.m. They will be finishing sidewalk and brick work on the north side of the project. All businesses will have clear access during work hours.

Please use caution when driving due to raised manholes and catch basins.

Lane Construction will begin selective paving from Elm Street north to Cottage Street I preparation for paving in late October.

Middle rightLapinski will begin pulling wires in various intersections, for the connection of new road lighting.

Two-way traffic and access to businesses will be maintained at all times. Police officers will be present at all locations to direct traffic and ensure traffic flows smoothly in all directions.

Lower leftWork hours are between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday with the exception of the completion of daily tasks and additional clean-up of work areas. Road conditions will return to normal after 3 p.m. each day.
