Great Barrington – The town of Great Barrington has issued the following alert: The national weather service has issued a winter storm warning for the Berkshires. The storm is supposed to start as light snow and rain during the day Monday switching to all snow with accumulations of 12-20 inches of heavy wet snow overnight and through the early morning hours of Tuesday. The overnight parking ban will be strictly enforced. Vehicles parked in the road inhibiting snow removal operations will be towed. We expect town buildings will be open but services may be limited depending on the severity of the storm. Please plan to call ahead.
