Grace E. Mazzone, 90, of Great Barrington, Mass.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Peck & Peck Funeral Homes. A time to share memories and offer condolences will begin at 9 a.m., until the start of the service. Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale.

Grace E. Mazzone, 90, of Great Barrington, and formerly of Copake, N.Y., passed away on February 13, 2023. She was born in New York City on June 10, 1932, the daughter of Giovanni and Pauline (Sanna) Nonnato. She lived in Huntington Station before moving to Copake.

Throughout her life she held different jobs, starting out on Wall Street, before becoming a seamstress and tailor. As her family grew, she became a dedicated homemaker raising her five sons.

Grace is survived by her five loving sons: Robert A. Ferrusi of Red Hook, N.Y.; Ernest J. Ferrusi and wife Danally Ferrusi of Hillsdale, N.Y.; Paul Ferrusi and wife Kim Ferrusi of Ashley Falls; Dominick L. Ferrusi and wife Brett L. Ferrusi of Clifton Park, N.Y. (formerly of Copake Falls); and Michael V. Ferrusi and wife Kathy Ferrusi of Elizaville, N.Y. She also has eight grandchildren: Matthew J. Ferrusi and wife Laura Ferrusi, Danielle A. Ferrusi, Elliot Ferrusi and wife Loraine Ferrusi, Charles Ferrusi, Avery Ferrusi, Ester G. Ferrusi, Joshua Ferrusi, and Tyler Ferrusi; as well as one great-granddaughter, Amelia Grace Ferrusi.

Grace was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Mazzone.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Peck & Peck Funeral Homes, 8063 Route 22, Copake, NY 12516. A time to share memories and offer condolences will begin at 9 a.m., until the start of the service. Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale. Donations in Grace’s memory may be made to Columbia Greene Humane Society.

A small, intimate gathering for close family and friends will be held at Birches-Roy Funeral Home on Monday March 9, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A private burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
