Gov. Healey and Lt. Gov. Driscoll endorse Leigh Davis for state representative

"As we work to make Massachusetts a more affordable place to live, it's important that we have leaders like Leigh on our side who will bring thoughtful solutions to the table,” said Gov. Healey.

Berkshire County — Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey and Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll have officially announced their endorsement of Leigh Davis for state representative in the 3rd Berkshire District. Healey served as Massachusetts’s attorney general for eight years before being elected governor in 2022.

Lt. Gov. Driscoll is scheduled to appear at Holiday Brook Farm in Dalton on Sunday, October 6, at 10 a.m., in support of Davis’s candidacy.

“Leigh Davis will be an impactful and effective partner to our administration in the State House,” said Healey. “She will be a champion for students, seniors, working families, veterans, and small business owners. As we work to make Massachusetts a more affordable place to live, it’s important that we have leaders like Leigh on our side who will bring thoughtful solutions to the table.”

“Gov. Healey and Lt. Gov. Driscoll have been working tirelessly to tackle the big issues facing our state,” said Davis. “I’m proud to have their support, and I look forward to working alongside them to deliver real results for our constituents.”

Leigh Davis is the vice chair of the Great Barrington Selectboard, communications director at Construct, a 1Berkshire Board director, and a member of the Lake Mansfield Improvement Task Force and the W.E.B. Du Bois Legacy Committee. Visit Davis’ campaign website for more information.
