Gerald R. ‘Jerry’ Kellogg of Barefoot Bay, Fla.

A graveside service for Jerry will be held Saturday, July 20, at 1 p.m., at Townhouse Hill Cemetery in Egremont.

Gerald R. “Jerry” Kellogg passed away July 10, 2024, at his home in Barefoot Bay, Fla., after a long courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born in 1947 in Canaan, Conn., he was the son of the late Norman and Rena Kellogg. He was raised in Great Barrington and graduated in 1965 from the former Searles High School.

Jerry was a Marine Corp veteran serving in Vietnam. He had 30 years of service with the phone company, beginning with New England Telephone and retiring from Verizon.

He leaves his wife Dona (Wheeler) Kellogg; his sons, Michael Kellogg and J.R. Kellogg; his brother Joe Kellogg (partner Kristin); his sisters, Diane Rose, Connie (Gary) Broggi, and Carol (Warren) Robertson; two step-children, Karena Gardino and Patrick Nilson; and his granddaughter Madison Gardino.

A graveside service for Jerry will be held Saturday, July 20, at 1 p.m., at Townhouse Hill Cemetery in Egremont. Condolences may be made through the website of Birches-Roy Funeral Home.

A memorial service for Lynn will be held on Wednesday, June 18, at 11 a.m., at the Christian Assembly in Pittsfield. There will be no calling hours, and burial will be private.

A Funeral Mass for Theresa will be held on Saturday, June 14, at 10 a.m., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Saint Peter’s Church in Great Barrington, with Reverend William P. Murphy Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Peter’s Cemetery.
