Gayle A. (Roberts) Pellerin, 67, of North Adams died Saturday, July 27, 2019, at her home.
She was born Dec. 7, 1951, in North Adams, a daughter of the late Joseph and Eileen (Jenkerson) Luczynski. Gayle attended Drury High School. Gayle was last employed at Williams Commons Nursing Home as a nutritionist aide. Gayle and her husband also were the former owner and operators of the “Coffee Shoppe” in North Adams with their children. She was a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Gayle was the widow of Walter Pellerin Jr.
Gayle leaves her three sons: Richard Cook Jr. and wife Nancy of Florida, Shawn Cook and wife Carrieanne of North Adams, and Harold Cook (Tommy) and wife Debbie of Adams; two stepchildren: Joseph Badger and husband Robert of Vermont, and Michelle Nichlien and husband Shawn of Vermont; granddaughter Larayssa Crosby and fiancee Justin, who helped care for her; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves brothers Bernard Robert of Adams, Steve Luczynski of North Carolina, and Harold Luczynski of North Adams; and one sister: Roxanna Burdick of Vermont. Gayle was predeceased by her brother Vaughn Luczynski.
A memorial celebration for Gayle Pellerin will take place Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 40 Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. Burial will be private and take place at a later date.
