Gavin Egan, 27, of Lee

Gavin graduated from Pittsfield High School in 2007 and Barron Institute of Technology in 2010. He was an electrician.

Gavin Egan, 27, of Lee went to the Lord on March 25. He was born on June 8, 1989, in Albany, New York. He is survived by his mother, Annie Hayes, and stepfather, Christopher Gerardi, of Lee; and by his father, Daniel Egan, and stepmother, Peggy Egan, of Albany. He is also survived by his brothers Cal Egan, Luke Egan, Matthew Badalucco and Michael Gerardi and his sisters Ruari Egan and Gabriella Gerardi. He is also survived by his grandmother Virginia Egan of Glenmont, New York.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Francis and Margaret Hayes, and his paternal grandfather, John Egan.

Gavin was also loved by his many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

He graduated from Pittsfield High School in 2007 and Barron Institute of Technology in 2010. Gavin was an electrician. Gavin was a kind-hearted, gentle and loving soul. Gavin loved his family and friends. He also loved fishing, hiking and music. He played the guitar and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Funeral services for Gavin Egan will be held Saturday, April 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Lee with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Brian McGrath, pastor. Visiting hours will be held Friday, April 7, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gavin’ s memory to the Keenan House in Pittsfield or Saint Mary’s Catholic School in Lee in care of Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238.

Thomas F. ‘Walt’ Palivoda, 72, of Housatonic

Walt’s family will receive friends on Friday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a funeral service officiated by Deacon Ed Shaw at Birches-Roy Funeral Home. A reception will follow at Wyantenuck Country Club. Private burial will be at a later date.
