Gabriel for selectboard

I have known Eric for several years as both a top notch electrical contractor and a community activist who lives and breathes “the Berkshires.”

To the editor:

As a resident of nearby Alford, I was very excited to learn that Eric Gabriel is running for Great Barrington Selectboard. Neighboring communities in our beloved Berkshires are all impacted by each other. Well thought out strategic planning in one town positively impacts the entire area. In the rapidly changing times that we are currently experiencing, maintaining the beauty and community of our region while encouraging growth is both complex and critical.

I have known Eric for several years as both a top notch electrical contractor and a community activist who lives and breathes “the Berkshires.” His ability to understand the complexity of problems without losing site of simple solutions, and to find compromise without losing priorities make him an outstanding choice to help Great Barrington meet the challenges the town faces.

Great Barrington has always been a leading community that helps shape South County. The addition of Eric Gabriel to the selectboard would benefit the town, as well as the entire area, as we all face a complex future.

Why I will not be voting for Jamie Minacci for Stockbridge Select Board

I hope to have a productive and inclusive discussion on the Chapter 61 land at Interlaken Cross Road at the Stockbridge Town Meeting

Despite some challenging moments, it was still an opportunity for all participants to gain a greater understanding of the nuances of the situation and hopefully have that context drive more productive discussion at Town Meeting.

Vote for Lisa Sauer for Stockbridge Select Board

The difference between the two candidates was apparent at recent Select Board meetings where Lisa has been one of the first to go to the microphone and voice her opinions.
