In Amsterdam, I was looking for an army green field jacket and came across a vendor selling military surplus from across the globe.

One of my favorite fashion and traveling stories of all time occurred at an outdoor flea market in Amsterdam.

I was looking for an army green field jacket and came across a vendor selling military surplus from across the globe. I asked him which country I should purchase a jacket from; as each militia designs their garments differently.

The vendor turned to me straight and said confidently, “Go with Italy. They even make their army jackets better.”
