Votes for Women: How Suffrage Sparked a Suffrage Revolution
June 20 - October 31
Included with Regular Admission
Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum’s Summer Exhibit features an early 20th century “Votes for Women” tea set, generously donated by Ventfort Hall Gilded Age Mansions & Museum, that once belonged to Alva Belmont. This tea set was used as a practical and decorative tool for the 1909 Suffrage Rally and 1914 Conference of Great Women (hosted by Alva herself) at Marble House and her Chinese tea house in Newport, RI.
