PeaceBirds Workshops
The workshops with Mona Shiber & JuPong Lin introduce the PeaceBirds project by creating space for sharing stories and folding birds together. We open a story circle with the story of the project’s genesis from folding circles to ever-evolving, ever-expanding art installation that aims to build on the global movements for peace.

Using story circle process, we invite the community to share their own stories of ancestral connection with homelands and experiences of migration and/or displacement.

We offer folding demonstrations of the dove and crane, integrating mindful movements of hands, eyes & heart. The birds we fold represent peace in many traditions. We imbue our global well wishes into our hands & birds.

Workshop fees: Please contribute to the PeaceBirds project in whatever way you can. Any donation is helpful; no one turned away for lack of funds.
