Light Through the Leaves: CATA at Mass Audubon Pleasant Valley

An exhibit of paintings, drawings, and photographs by artists with disabilities inspired by the natural landscape of the Berkshires.
CATA’s Exhibit features vibrant paintings, drawings, and photographs created by artists with disabilities from Community Access to the Arts. Many of the works were created on-site at Mass Audubon’s Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary as part of an ongoing partnership between CATA and Mass Audubon.
The exhibit includes botanical studies, landscapes, abstract paintings, and photography ranging widely in stylistic expression and scale of size. All works in the exhibit are professionally matted, framed, and available for sale, with proceeds supporting commissions for the individual artists.
Join us for a fun and free opening celebration on Tuesday, October 15 from 3-5pm! Drop in any time to meet and celebrate with the artists. Free refreshments will be provided. All are welcome! Registration is requested—RSVP here: https://igfn.us/form/Rbn9Mg
This exhibit is part of CATA’s “Art on Tour” program, where original works of art created by CATA artists travel throughout the year to museums, galleries, community centers, and other venues in Berkshire and Columbia counties.
CATA Art on Tour exhibits are sponsored in part by Frames on Wheels and generous supporters like you. CATA is proudly supported by Barr Foundation as well as by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which receives support from the State of Massachusetts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
