Hudson, NY – 510 Warren Street Gallery is happy to present a show of new paintings by founding member Kate Knapp beginning Friday, February 6th and ending on Sunday, March 1st. An opening reception with the artist is on Saturday, Febraury 14th from 2 to 6 PM. All are welcome.

Knapp’s new work continues her inspiration from everyday life in the countryside of garden, fields and rivers. She finds beauty in her surroundings, the commonplace and the exquisite natural world by land and by sea. Whatever she chooses to paint, her exploration focuses on color, composition and feeling. Her subject matter, as simple and direct as the landscapes and flowers around her, captures the light inherent in her choice of color. Through the expressive energy of her brushwork, she paints her love of painting and her love for her subjects.
