Christian Dewailly thought he might learn to play the cello upon retirement, but quickly settled on more practical thoughts after he began to explore painting, which quickly became his passion. As he describes it: “Art became a way to express my inner view of our wonderful world and nature around me. My favorite mediums are oil and pastels.”

For Celia Kahn, the medium of collage brings together disparate images to form a new reality based on color, shape, texture and whatever is happening inside her mind and the outside world. Torn paper, ink, paint and glue become something unique and whole using space to explore the natural world and the illusions that appear within.
