Lenox, Massachusetts

Lenox is a small but vibrant New England town nestled in the heart of the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts. Its rural beauty and major cultural attractions including Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra; Shakespeare and Company's new international campus; and Edith Wharton’s restored mansion, The Mount, attract thousands annually. Ventfort Hall Museum and the Historic Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum celebrate the Gilded Age of the 1890's in Lenox. At Frelinghuysen Morris House and Studio, visitors can see an exquisite collection of American and European Cubist Art. Despite its strong tourist attractions and array of accommodations, Lenox remains primarily a residential community of approximately 6,000 people.
