Endorsements for Leigh Davis, Great Barrington Selectboard candidate

Add it all up and you have a savvy, enterprising woman who brings people together to get things done. That's the kind of leadership we need to see more of.

To the editor:

Great Barrington voters face a choice for Selectboard on May 14, but one choice is clear: Leigh Davis gets our vote. As a hardworking activist in our community, Leigh has experience on the boards of Construct,  The Mahaiwe, and the GB Finance Committee.

As a single mother of three, Leigh knows pocketbook issues firsthand. In her day job, Leigh is shepherding redevelopment of the Eagle Mills in Lee and the Berkshire Hathaway Mills in Adams — the kind of economic development she wants to bring to Great Barrington and Housatonic.

Add it all up and you have a savvy, enterprising woman who brings people together to get things done. That’s the kind of leadership we need to see more of. Vote for Leigh if you want to see the Selectboard get a move on –growing a healthy economy, bringing back jobs and creating new opportunities for locals.
