Elizabeth J. (Jeannie) Mascioli, 88, of Great Barrington

Jeannie was warm and loving and funny. She touched many people's lives and will not be forgotten.

Elizabeth J. (Jeannie) Mascioli, 88, died June 7 at Berkshire Medical Center following a debilitating stroke. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 26, 1932, the daughter of the late Charles and Edna Redmond.

Jeannie was warm and loving and funny. Her mind was bright and curious: she loved art, travel, and history, but mostly she loved people. She leaves behind four children, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a wide circle of people who received, and reciprocated, her love. She touched many people’s lives and will not be forgotten.

For information on a memorial celebration, please call Bill Mascioli at 301-404-7490. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Equal Justice Initiative would be appreciated.
