Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Haber, 59, of Pittsfield

Betsy was a graduate of the Monument Mountain Regional High School class of 1978, an active member of the Pittsfield community and a beloved member of her family.

Elizabeth “Betsy” Jane (Hastedt) Haber, 59, of Pittsfield passed away May 24, 2018. Born Feb. 8, 1959, in Great Barrington, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Helen Calomiris Hastedt. Betsy was a graduate of the Monument Mountain Regional High School class of 1978. She was an active member of the Pittsfield community and a beloved member of her family.

She is survived by her sisters Patricia Pixley of Pittsfield and Rosemarie Quick of Kalamazoo, Michigan; her daughters Misty Labshere of Pittsfield and Eva Assante of Vermont; her aunts June Hastedt and Margaret “Marge” Gillett; and two grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Betsy was predeceased by her husband, Donald “John” Haber; and her sister Mary Midling.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 1at 11 a.m. at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington, conducted by Rev. Chuck Young. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Cemetery in Southfield. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 31from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Charley’s Fund (which fights Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy) through FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME, 426 Main St., Great Barrington, MA 01230. Roberta A. ‘Bobbie’ Nussbaum, 90, of Egremont

A funeral service for Roberta 'Bobbie' Nussbaum will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, conducted by Rabbi Barbara Cohen. Burial will follow at Ahavath Sholom Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Francis Thomas Duke Jr., 82, of Lenox

The funeral for Mr. Francis T. Duke will be held on Friday, May 16, at 11 a.m., at Trinity Church in Lenox, with Rev. Michael Tuck officiating. Burial will be private in Corashire Cemetery in Monterey. There will be no calling hours.
