Egremont — Each year the Egremont Garden Club tops off its annual calendar of activities with a workshop to make holiday decorations for the community. This year, the club met Dec. 2 at the South Egremont fire station. Members decorated 10 wreaths, filled 27 mugs with festive baubles and greenery, and designed 16 centerpieces. The wreaths will hang on such public buildings as Town Hall, the two fire stations and the library. The centerpieces are for the tables at the Claire Teague Senior Center in Great Barrington and the “mugs of holiday cheer” will all be delivered by Meals on Wheels to homebound people in the community.
The club can be reached at EgremontGardenClub@gmail.com.
