Doern is the change New Marlborough needs

In a letter to the editor, Lauri Aibel and Tim Sleeper write, "He also has the ability to speak with local residents and carefully craft solutions for our town that make him the change New Marlborough needs right now."

To the editor:

We are writing to support the candidacy of Daniel Doern for selectman of New Marlborough. Dan has the credentials needed for the positon with career experience that spans real estate development, business solutions and local government compliance. He also has the ability to speak with local residents and carefully craft solutions for our town that make him the change New Marlborough needs right now.

Additionally, Dan will bring a measured maturity and thoughtfulness to our local government that will benefit the town (all five villages) of New Marlborough. New Marlborough is at a crossroad of change, and that change manifests successfully through careful considerations, not through the reverberating yell of “Charge!” Dan is thoughtful, thorough and has a true understanding and respect for our town. Perhaps most importantly, his ideas will reflect the input of all town residents who communicate with him.

Dan Doern is qualified, but it’s more than just what we read on paper. We have seen him speak at meetings with decorum, respect and a true understanding of the issues (and outcomes) that New Marlborough will face in the coming months and years. We ask you to vote for Daniel Doern on May 14.
