Deloris B. Davis, 78, of New Marlborough

Funeral Services for Deloris B. Davis will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m., at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home, with Reverends Regina King and Robert Olsen officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 10 to 11 a.m.

Deloris B. Davis, 78, of New Marlborough died on Friday, November 17, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Deloris was born in Pittsfield on March 7, 1945, the daughter to Murdick and Catherine (Shaw) Kickery. She was educated in Pittsfield Schools and attended Pittsfield high School.

Deloris enjoyed cooking and baking; doing word searches; was involved with her church, the United Church of New Marlborough; and she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Deloris is survived by her husband and the love of her life of 44 years, Lawrence Davis Jr., whom she married on February 22, 1969 at the United Church of New Marlborough; her son Lawrence “Larry” Davis III (Lori); her two daughters, Kathy Chretien and Angel Davis (John); four brothers, Darwin, Bruce, Wayne, and Robin; three sisters, Carolyn, Ethel, and Charron; three grandchildren, Stephaine, Jordan, and Tyler; her two great-grandchildren, Mason and Noah; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Deloris was predeceased by her sister Charlotte, her granddaughter Chelsea Hurley in 2018, and 11 of her brothers.

Funeral Services for Deloris B. Davis will be held on Wednesday, December 6, at 11 a.m., at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA, with Reverends Regina King and Robert Olsen officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 6, from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Deloris’ memory may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be made through the funeral home’s website.
