Leigh Davis wins Democratic primary

Davis will now go on to the general election in November against Lenox Select Board member Marybeth Mitts.

Berkshire County — In the 3rd Berkshire District Democratic primary for State Representative, Leigh Davis has been declared the winner.

Davis, who is the communications and engagement director for Construct Inc., is also the Vice Chair of the Great Barrington Selectboard.

Davis defeated Democratic candidates Stockbridge Selectboard members Patrick White and Jamie Minacci.

She will now face independent candidate and Lenox Select Board member Marybeth Mitts in November’s general election.

Both Davis and Mitts are vying for State Rep. William “Smitty” Pignatelli’s seat.
