David Edwards’ review of ‘A Complete Unknown’ breezed past a key figure

Edward's focus on the musicality is understandable and, granted, fundamental to a Dylan story, but his critique (if I understand the title of the article) is a "Film Review" not a "Musical Film Review."

To the editor:

David Noel Edwards’ enthusiastic review of “A Complete Unknown” is greatly diminished by his failure to recognize Elle Fanning’s performance and pivotal role as Sylvia Russo (Suze Rotolo), the young woman who introduced an unknown Robert Zimmerman from Duluth, Minn., to the progressive New York underground music scene and provided the launch pad for someone who became Bob Dylan. Edward’s focus on the musicality is understandable and, granted, fundamental to a Dylan story, but his critique (if I understand the title of the article) is a “Film Review” not a “Musical Film Review.” The fact that she was not a musician shouldn’t have left her out of the ensemble review.

Thank you to the Berkshire community for returning Marcy to her family

We are forever thankful. This letter is not enough to thank everyone who cared. We shook hands with volunteers in the woods whose names we never got or remember. Thank you now; you are not forgotten.
