Daniel R. Duke, 43, of Lenox

Daniel attended Berkshire Community College and later transferred to the University of South Carolina, where he studied Marine Biology. An avid outdoorsman and environmental enthusiast, he enjoyed soccer, skiing and mountain biking.

Daniel R. Duke, 43, of Lenox, died Thursday, May 19, 2022, from injuries sustained 21 years ago.

Born in Pittsfield August 23, 1978, the son of Francis T. and Jessica Camp Duke, he attended local schools, was a 1996 graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School, and a 1997 graduate of Northfield Mount Hermon School.

Mr. Duke attended Berkshire Community College and later transferred to the University of South Carolina, where he studied Marine Biology. He had also participated in the Outward-Bound program in the Great Lakes and Rio Grande regions.

An avid outdoorsman and environmental enthusiast, he enjoyed soccer, skiing and mountain biking.

Danny is survived by his parents of Lenox, his brother Christopher J. Duke Sr. and his wife Rachel, and his nephews C.J. and Anderson, all of of Greensboro, North Carolina.

Funeral services for Daniel Robert Duke of Lenox will be private. Burial will be in Corashire Cemetery in Monterey at a later date. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan’s memory may be made to the Dan Duke Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of Roche Funeral Home, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA  01240. Francis Thomas Duke Jr., 82, of Lenox

The funeral for Mr. Francis T. Duke will be held on Friday, May 16, at 11 a.m., at Trinity Church in Lenox, with Rev. Michael Tuck officiating. Burial will be private in Corashire Cemetery in Monterey. There will be no calling hours.

Jeffrey E. van Lingen, 62, of Lenox

There will be a service held on Wednesday, May 14, beginning at 11 a.m., at the Roche Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 13, from 4 to 7 p.m.

U Ba Win, 78, of Great Barrington

A memorial will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 26, at the Daniel Arts Center at Bard College at Simon's Rock.
