Constance E. Friedrich, of Great Barrington, formerly of Garden City, N.Y., passed away at the age of 91 on November 22, 2024, surrounded by her children.
She was the beloved wife of the late Carl Robert Friedrich Esq.; mother of Carrie Ann (Paul) Ferry, Claudia (Kevin) Schmitz, Christiana (John) Bunn, Carl Jr. (Melinda), and Catherine (Robert) Kaderavek; devoted grandmother of Matthew (Emily), Christopher (Carly), Michael, Patrick, Margaret (Marina), Courtney Bunn (John), William, Elizabeth Bunn, Hannah, Carl, Lillian, Henry, Sarah, Grace, and Emma; great-grandmother to Riley, Hailey, and Layla Ferry; sibling to her dear twin sister Eleanor Roland and late brother Bruno Org; and sister-in-law of Dorothy Coons and the late Thomas M. Roland and Betty and John Sutter. She was adored by many nieces and nephews.
Connie grew up on Long Island, N.Y. and was a graduate of Hofstra University, holding three degrees. She lived a life committed to family, faith, and her career as an educator. Connie was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
A Christian service will be held December 7, 10 a.m., at the First Congregational Church in Great Barrington, followed by a luncheon and private interment.
