Consider donating to the Great Barrington Firefighters Association to thank them for fighting the Butternut Fire

It seems gifts of food and water are no longer needed for the responders.

To the editor:

It is heartwarming to read about the wonderful response from the community for the firefighters who were and are battling the Butternut Fire. They are doing a fantastic job!

It seems gifts of food and water are no longer needed for the responders.

One thought: People could send donations to the Great Barrington Firefighters Association, Attention: Terry Chamberland, on 37 State Road in Great Barrington, which goes towards their scholarship fund. It would be a nice tribute to all the firefighters.
