Colleen Gennari, 56, of Pittsfield, graduate of Mt. Everett High School

 

Colleen worked on the family farm, doing housekeeping in the Alford area and was a beloved custodian at Mount Everett.

Colleen Gennari, 56 of Pittsfield died Wednesday August 17, 2016 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. She was born on October 5, 1959 in Hartford, Conn.,daughter of the late Ward and Carolyn D. (Phillips) Schoonmaker. She was a graduate from Mount Everett Regional High School.

Colleen worked on the family farm, doing housekeeping in the Alford area and was a beloved custodian at Mount Everett. Colleen enjoyed photography and Native American studies and loved animals, especially dogs and horses.

Colleen is survived by two brothers, Wayne Schoonmaker of Alford and Ward Schoonmaker Jr. of Pittsfield, and one sister, Robin Bennett of Ashley Falls, as well as ten nieces and nephews. Colleen was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Schoonmaker, of Alford.
