Clyde A. Clark, 81, of Southfield died Tuesday Aug. 6, 2019, at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington. Clyde was born Jan. 20, 1938, in Salisbury, Connecticut, the son of Arnold and Shirley (Bates) Clark. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Clyde worked for many years as a contractor building homes.
Clyde is survived by his wife, Joan (Hoyt) Clark of Southfield; daughter Dawn Valinaggi and fiance Joe Duby of South Carolina; brother Larry Clark of Salisbury; sister Barbara Smith of Ohio; and grandsons John and Michael. Clyde was predeceased by his son Scott Clark and sister Doreen Clark.
