Clara Carolina Archambault, 97, of Lenox, died January 30, 2026, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in 1928, she was the youngest of six children of Secundo Giovanni Batista Masino and Madalena (Vittone) Masino of the Lakewood neighborhood of Pittsfield.

Clara graduated from Pittsfield High School and, before her marriage to Leonard W. Archambault in 1950, worked at the Glix-Brand Pajama Factory and the First Agricultural Bank Bond Department. She helped at Dalton Avenue Florist during holidays and assisted a CPA during tax seasons.

Clara knitted. She cooked, baked, canned, and made jams and jellies, some of which were sold at Hancock Shaker Village. She was an avid reader. She volunteered at Berkshire Botanical Garden’s herb garden.

Clara and Len liked to go on family camping trips and especially enjoyed traveling to Point Judith, R.I., and Quebec City. They loved to go fishing from their small boat on local ponds. They were active with local archaeology and folk music groups and the Pittsfield Squares dance club.

Clara was predeceased by her husband in 2007 and her siblings: Armanda Avalle (Thomas), Louis Masino (Josephine), Mario “Mike” Masino (Alfreda), Peter Masino (Kay), and Charles Masino (Linda). She is survived by her daughter Donna Drew (Bernard) of Great Barrington, her son Marc Archambault (Amy McGough) of St. Joseph, Mo.; her granddaughters, Jessie Drew (Joshua “Jo” Collins-Beldin) of Olympia, Wash., and Darcie Drew (Jimmy Viera) of Portland, Maine; and many nieces and nephews.
