Charles Nathan Hawkins Kerzner, 23, of Sheffield

Everyone will miss the clever and jovial spirit that Charlie brought to every room. The family's dear Peter Pan was so loved, and they are heartbroken to have lost them so soon.

Charles Nathan Hawkins Kerzner was born in Housatonic on October 26, 2000 and ended their life too soon on January 26, 2024.

Charlie brought an energy and humor to the lives of their family and friends. As an early artist and creator of shows, Charles painted, did pottery, and entertained on many local stages, including many shared Shakespeare shenanigans. Charles was a camp counselor at Flying Cloud Institute and a cheesemaker at Cricket Creek Farm. Charles sang, wrestled, played trombone and guitar, and acted with a seemingly effortless charisma.

Charlie will be dearly missed by their brother Jacob and sisters Ashley and Bethany. Everyone will miss the clever and jovial spirit that they brought to every room. The family’s dear Peter Pan was so loved, and they are heartbroken to have lost them so soon.

Parents, Adam and Susan, are grateful for all the outpouring of love and kindness. Those interested can support young people in need by sending donations to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

The funeral will take place at Dewey Hall in Sheffield on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11 a.m., followed immediately by internment at Ahavath Sholom Cemetery in Great Barrington. A livestream of the funeral service will be available.

A graveside service will be scheduled in the spring.

Robert Alvin White Jr., 78, of Lenox

In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Beacon Center in Madison, Wis., where his niece Sara dedicated her time to supporting the unhoused; the Sara Marie White Memorial Epilepsy Scholarship; or the restoration of the Lenox Meeting house.
