Hannah worked in retail most of her life and was the owner of “Sally Dean Dress Shop” in Great Barrington.

Dr. Bruce Scott Brown, 82, of Lake Buel, New Marlborough, and Pittsford, N.Y.

Dr. Brown became Chairman of Pathology  at the late, great Genesee Hospital in Rochester where he remained for more than thirty years.el, New Marlborough, But when he retired he took to Country Music and the bass fiddle, with a group named Wild Root.

Donna Marie Shaw Cook, 74, of Great Barrington

Mrs. Cook was employed as a traffic manager at ED Jones in Pittsfield for 45 years until her retirement in 2005. She then went to work part-time as an administrative assistant at the town offices in Stockbridge.

Minnie M. Rood, 85, of Ashley Falls, Massachusetts

Mrs. Rood drove school busses for Massini Bus Co. as well as Hayes Bus Co. Over the 30 plus years she drove many hundreds of students, many of whom still remember her fondly.

Rescue crews hiked in about a half hour on the Hickey trail carrying medical supplies and rescue equipment.

Roland B. Wheeler, 94, of North Egremont, 63-year veteran of volunteer Fire Department

Roland was employed as an electrician by Harland B. Foster, Inc. from 1945 until 1980. He continued his career working for out-of-state locals until his retirement.
