A service for Roger will be held at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on February 21, 2026. A celebration of life will be held at the Great Barrington VFW immediately after.
The family will receive family and friends at Birches-Roy Funeral Home on Saturday, January 31, from 1 to 3 p.m. A funeral service will be held immediately after the calling hours followed by a celebration of life at 4 p.m. at Bogies in Great Barrington.
Funeral Mass for Theodore “Ted” Ptak will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Housatonic, with Reverend William P. Murphy, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Bridget’s Cemetery in Housatonic.
In keeping with Fred’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. A service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow immediately at the Great Barrington VFW.
A funeral mass will be held at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Housatonic on Jan. 24 at 10 a.m., followed by a burial at St Bridget’s Cemetery in Housatonic. Visiting hours will be held at Birches-Roy Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23.

Funeral service for Helen Meisl will be held on Thursday, January 8, at 10 a.m., at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home, with Fr. Robert Miskell officiating. Burial will follow in Sandisfield Center Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 7, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the funeral home.
