Carr Hardware opens new store in Lenox: Fifth location to serve the Berkshires

A brand new store, #8 in the Carr Hardware network, opens in Lenox with state-of-the art experiences and services.

Pittsfield Carr Hardware, a family-owned business for over 90 years is proud to announce that their new location in Lenox, Massachusetts is now open for business.

The 11,000 square foot retail space is located in The Center at Lenox, 489 Pittsfield Road in Lenox, on routes 7 and 20. The Center at Lenox, at 489 Pittsfield Road is also home to well-known retailers CVS, Marshalls and Price Chopper.

The new state of the art Carr Hardware offers a unique modern and convenient shopping experience, with a nostalgic, vintage hardware store flair.

President of Carr Hardware, Bart Raser stated, “We are truly excited about opening this brand new innovative and complete home improvement store that features a customer shopping experience specially designed for the Lenox community. The store will serve the needs of local business, contractors, resorts and homeowners alike.”

Preferred brands featured include: STIHL, Toro, Pratt & Lambert, Valspar, Cabot, Milwaukee, Dewalt, Weber, Big Green Egg, Scotts, Graber and Carhartt, to name just a few. Plus, the store features a large seasonal garden center. Special services like digital key duplication, screen and glass repair, lamp repair along with propane filling are also being offered. Free local delivery is available as well as the Carr assurance… “At Carr we service what we sell.”

Unique to the market, Carr Hardware introduces “Ben Moore 2 Your Door” where contractors and homeowners can select their Benjamin Moore paint purchase, along with the needed accessories and have them all delivered within the greater Lenox area, the same day and with no delivery fee. Orders can be placed online, by phone or text.

“The opening of our new store in Lenox strengthens our presence in the Berkshires and complements our nearby stores in Lee, Pittsfield Great Barrington and North Adams.” Added Bart Raser.

A Grand Opening Celebration is scheduled for May 2020.
