BUSINESS PERSPECTIVES: Engineered to honor the arts, Berkshire Mountain Distillers’ wildly successful ‘Cultural Cocktails’ campaign returns to the Berkshires for another summer

“We’re so fortunate to be a part of a supportive community that cherishes art, culture, and the crafting of a great cocktail.”

Sheffield— Following its highly successful run of its region-wide “Cultural Cocktails” campaign last year, Berkshire Mountain Distillers (BMD) brings the program back to the Berkshires this summer through Labor Day weekend.

Engineered to honor the arts, “Cultural Cocktails” centers around classic recipes inspired by world-class Berkshire cultural institutions. Pioneering a craft cocktail movement as another way to experience the Berkshires.

The 2022 BMD Cultural Cocktails campaign, together with 15 cultural organizations, reached more than one million subscribers and over 1,100,000 unique followers on Instagram, over 1,300,000 on Facebook, and almost 400,000 on Twitter throughout the summer season. In addition to region-wide media outlets, the program was mentioned in Conde Nast Traveler magazine.

Featuring favorite BMD spirits, the distillery worked alongside each cultural organization’s marketing team to connect this year’s featured cocktails to performances, exhibitions, special programs, and works of art. Some of this year’s clever cocktail names are CATA’s “Creative Spark”, Shakespeare and Company’s “Bottom’s Elixir”, Hancock Shaker Village’s “Shakered Not Stirred”, Arrowhead’s “Implacable Sea”, and Berkshire Botanical Garden’s “Nectar of the Gardens”.
