CTSB presents “Solo Creatives” a new series of shows featuring local artists
Lee— CTSB, Community Television for the Southern Berkshires, and Sherry Steiner, Board member and producer, have created a new series of shows featuring local artists sharing their stories and talents with the community. The shows run on CTSB Public Channel 1301 and can also be viewed anytime on the website at www.ctsbtv.org by clicking on the Public Channel and searching for “Solo Creatives.” The full schedule of show times on Channel 1301 can be found on the website.
CTSB has recorded over a dozen episodes in the past two months, with many new shows coming soon. Recent episodes featured sculpture artist Michele Paul Richard; musician Rees Shad; writer Jennifer Browdy, Ph.D.; and photographer David Ricci.
“Solo Creatives” also provides opportunities for local students interning at CTSB to operate studio cameras during the recordings, learn about video production and have the opportunity to meet and learn more about the artists.

Pittsfield— Greylock is proud to announce the promotions of Jennifer Connor-Shumsky and Mark Kaley.
Jennifer Connor-Shumsky has been appointed the Assistant Vice President, Community Support and Events. In this role, Jennifer is responsible for sponsorships and community support and manages Greylock’s Quality Time Club (QTC), high school scholarship program and the new mentorship program.
Mark Kaley has risen to Vice President, Contact Center. He joined Greylock in 2008 as the manager of the Contact Center. Mark now oversees a team of 12 employees who handle every incoming call to Greylock as well as provide internal and external support for online banking inquiries.

Apply to the Berkshire Leadership Program
Pittsfield— 1Berkshire’s Berkshire Leadership Program (BLP) has announced that the 2023 applications are open.
The Berkshire Leadership Program seeks, prepares, involves, and sustains individuals from diverse backgrounds who are committed to and competent in addressing community challenges and improving the quality of life in the Berkshires. More than 600 community-minded individuals have graduated from the program since its inception in 1997.
The Class of 2023 will kick off with a two-day retreat Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29, which includes training in many facets of leadership, problem-solving techniques, and networking. The retreat is followed by weekly sessions held on Thursdays, May 4 – June 29, focusing on areas of economic development, healthcare, tourism, creative economy, housing, and community involvement. The deadline to apply for the Class of 2023 is Monday, January 23, 2023. The cost of tuition is $700; some scholarship dollars are available.

Ventfort Hall hires Wendy Healey as Executive Director
Lenox— Wendy Healey has joined Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum in Lenox as Executive Director. She was previously a management consultant and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in banking, financial technology, and marketing.
Healey served on the WAM board of directors since 2018, most recently as the board President, and chairs its Governance Committee. She is a founding member of the Inclusive Economic Innovation Group, a think tank that seeks equitable solutions to systemic economic racism, and served on the board of directors of BerkShares, the local currency of the Berkshires. She has been involved with local chambers of commerce her entire career, and served as the first woman president of the Avon, CT Chamber of Commerce.

Dana Knox-Grover joins the American Mural Project
Winstead, Conn. — The American Mural Project has announced Dana Knox-Grover as its new Director of Marketing and Communications.
Dana will lead AMP’s brand-building initiatives and strategic marketing campaigns to help bolster the organization’s mission and purpose with local, regional, and national audiences. She will be a key contributor to the growth and evolution of AMP’s multi-faceted programs and community events by increasing sustainable revenue streams, driving partnership engagement, and enhancing the visitor experience.
The American Mural Project (AMP) was launched in 2001 by artist Ellen Griesedieck and is home to the largest indoor collaborative artwork in the world— a three-dimensional mural 120-feet long and five stories high. The mural is a tribute to American workers and highlights what has defined the country over the last century. It seeks to inspire, to educate, tioinvite collaboration, and to reveal to people of all ages the many contributions they can make to American culture.
