Brian Edward Marks, 61, of Great Barrington

He loved watching thunderstorms, spending time with family, and traveling cross-country with his son Travis.

Brian Edward Marks, 61, of Great Barrington unexpectedly passed away at his home on October 17th, 2023.  Born on May 8th,1962, to Claude and Beverly Marks, he was raised in Housatonic and was a 1980 graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School. He worked as a machine mechanic in Berkshire County manufacturing companies for several years.

He loved watching thunderstorms, spending time with family, and traveling cross-country with his son Travis.  He leaves behind his daughter Kristen Marks of Cresson, Texas; son Travis Marks of West Stockbridge; grandson Brandon Phillips; brother Scott Marks; nephew Michael Marks and niece Samantha Marks. He was predeceased by his parents Claude and Beverly Marks, his grandmother Gladys Race, and brother Glenn Marks.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 8th, 2023, at The Stockbridge Grange Hall, 51 Church Street, Stockbridge, Mass., from 4-7pm for anyone who would like to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his children to help with cremation and service expenses.

Roberta A. ‘Bobbie’ Nussbaum, 90, of Egremont

A funeral service for Roberta 'Bobbie' Nussbaum will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, conducted by Rabbi Barbara Cohen. Burial will follow at Ahavath Sholom Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Francis Thomas Duke Jr., 82, of Lenox

The funeral for Mr. Francis T. Duke will be held on Friday, May 16, at 11 a.m., at Trinity Church in Lenox, with Rev. Michael Tuck officiating. Burial will be private in Corashire Cemetery in Monterey. There will be no calling hours.
