Resos De Sonidos, the trio of Tim “Love” Lee, Vicky Ehrich, and Damarys Romano creates sonic ceremonies for grounding, journeying, and healing. Using a diverse array of powerful sound-healing instruments played together, the trio provides a mesmerizing and truly transformative experience. Picture yourself floating in the pool while relaxing on a float or lying poolside, completely immersed in layers of incredible sound and transported to a whole new dimension. Fisher Center presents two-time Grammy-nominated Sierra Hill
Annandale-On-Hudson, N.Y.— On Thursday, August 1st at 8 p.m., the Fisher Center presents Sierra Hill.

Called to the Grand Ole Opry’s stage by Alison Krauss at just 11 years old, Sierra Hull has established herself as a master of her instrument, a two-time Grammy-nominated artist and songwriter, and a six-time recipient of IBMA’s Mandolin Player of the Year (the first woman ever to receive this distinction.)
A pioneer for acoustic music throughout her already impressive multi-decade career, she has graced the country’s most iconic stages, including Carnegie Hall and the White House. Her virtuosic abilities have garnered respect from genre-defining trailblazers, friends, and collaborators such as Alison Krauss, Sturgill Simpson, Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, Béla Fleck, Bobby McFerrin, and Brandi Carlile.

Mad Rose Gallery presents ‘New Works’ by photographer Kerry Madigan
Millerton, N.Y.— From August 1st through the 29th, Mad Rose Gallery presents ‘New Works’ by photographer Kerry Madigan, coinciding with the gallery’s second anniversary.
Kerry Madigan began her photographic journey in the early 1970s after studying with master photographers Yale Joel and George Tice. Influenced by these masters, Kerry has developed her own unique style. Her current exhibition showcases stunning landscapes and abstract nature photographs and marks her second exhibition at Mad Rose Gallery.

West Stockbridge— From August 1st though August 11th, the Guild of Berkshire Artists presents ‘Glory Days,’ the work of Karen Carmean, Natalie Tyler, and Don Sexton at Art on Main Gallery.

Exploring the Berkshires, Karen Carmean creates artwork in plein air in oils with a limited palette. She enjoys encouraging people to join her and experience making art outdoors.
Inspired by the natural world, Natalie Tyler creates sculptures using glass and bronze casting, exploring the fragile and forceful elements of nature. She is currently working on a sculpture that will exhibit in this year’s Contemporary Sculpture exhibition at Chesterwood.
“I tell stories,” explains Don Sexton. With masters and doctoral degrees in economics from the University of Chicago and in retirement from 50 years of award-winning teaching and research at Columbia University, Sexton is currently is performing stand-up comedy on Broadway, and in his spare time writes song lyrics. His art works are oils or mixed media (inks and oil pastels.)
The exhibit runs from August 1st though August 11th at Art on Main Gallery at 38 Main Street in West Stockbridge. There is an opening reception on Saturday, August 3rd from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and an artists talk on Saturday, August 10th at 2 p.m. More information can be found online.

Join Kula Manu, a student-led club from Kamehameha Schools Kapālama High School on the island of O’ahu, Hawaiʻi, for an enlightening presentation on Hawaiian featherwork. This event will delve into the history and cultural significance of this intricate art form, showcasing various cultural items crafted through this process. During the presentation, attendees will learn about the history and importance of Hawaiian featherwork and participate in a small crafting workshop.
The program is on Wednesday, July 31st at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Berkshire Museum on South Street in Pittsfield. It is included with museum admission. More information can be found online.
