Becket Arts Center presents the world premiere of Mollie Kellogg’s ‘Incognito Witch The Musical’
Becket— On Saturday, March 8th at 2 p.m., Becket Arts Center presents the world premiere of Mollie Kellogg’s “Incognito Witch The Musical.”
“Incognito Witch The Musical” is a quirky magical-realism dramedy following G the Incognito Witch, an artist navigating life after a tumultuous divorce. It is a story of friendship, love, and radical acceptance. Part autobiography, part “inner magick” self-help guide, “Incognito Witch” is based on the works and life of creative sorceress Mollie Kellogg.

The cast is composed of Berkshire artists, performers, and musicians including Kristina Clemens Cardot, Matt Deres, Ava Elfont, Diane Firtell, Mark Hohlstein, Jojo McDonald, Max Michaels, Melissa Myers, Stephen Mole, Jana Pfeiffer, Monika Pizzichemi, Stefanie Weber, and Mollie Kellogg as G the Incognito Witch.
The performance is on Saturday, March 8th at 2 p.m. at Becket Arts Center, located at 7 Brooker Hill Road in Becket. Tickets and more information can be found online.

Shakespeare & Company’s Northeast Regional Tour of Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’
Lenox— Through May 2nd, Shakespeare & Company presents its Northeast Regional Tour of the dark and powerful tale of Shakespeare’s “Macbeth,” directed by Kevin G. Coleman and Kirstin L. Daniel.

Shakespeare & Company’s Education Tour and Professional Development Manager, explained that the cast presents full productions of the play but also post-show forums and various related workshops in middle and high schools, colleges, and other venues across the Northeast. The tour reaches more than 20,000 students, teachers, and audience members each year, and has been part of Shakespeare & Company’s repertoire since 1982. This year, the tour travels to various towns and cities in Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, and New York. Shakespeare & Company’s ‘Behind the Curtain’ discussion series resumes for 2025
Lenox— Beginning on Saturday, March 8th at 10:30 a.m., Shakespeare & Company’s “Behind the Curtain” discussion series resumes for 2025.

Theater enthusiasts are invited to go “Behind the Curtain” this spring and summer, through a series of discussions led by Shakespeare scholar Ann Berman. Held on select Saturdays throughout the spring and summer at the Shakespeare & Company campus, these free public talks offer audiences insight into the creative process of Season 2025’s productions, featuring directors, cast, and design team members as they explore themes, artistic choices, and behind-the-scenes stories:

Friends of the Bushnell-Sage Library presents author Ruth Bass to read from her latest book, ‘The Triangle, a Tale of Love and Death’
Sheffield— On Sunday, March 9th at 2:30 p.m., the Friends of the Bushnell-Sage Library presents author Ruth Bass to read from her latest book, “The Triangle, a Tale of Love and Death.”
Bass used her early experiences as a court reporter and the first female police reporter at the Berkshire Eagle to craft “The Triangle,” a love triangle thriller. She will read excerpts from it and talk about the process she used to create a novel very different from the historical fiction of her last four books, the “Sarah Series.”

Bass began her long career in journalism first as a reporter, then editor, and now a weekly columnist at the Berkshire Eagle. Her excellence at her work culminated in her being inducted into the New England Press Association’s Hall of Fame for achievement in community journalism.
The free reading is on Sunday, March 9th at 2:30 p.m. at the Bushnell-Sage Library, located at 48 Main Street in Sheffield. More information can be found online.

Lee— On Wednesday, March 5th, the First Congregational Church of Lee hosts Ash Wednesday and “Ashes-to-Go” services.
On March 5th, Rev. Marisa Brown Ludwig from First Congregational Church of Lee will be offering the imposition of ashes in two ways:
- Noon to 1 p.m. – Ashes-to-Go in Church Park – Ashes given at your car window with a brief Ash Wednesday personal liturgy hand-out
- 6:30 p.m. – Ash Wednesday Service in the Chapel (followed by a Lenten Book Study at 7 p.m.)
